Legislature approves Rep. Moller’s initiatives to curb gender-based violence
A series of overdue protections against sexual assault and other forms of gender-based violence was approved as part of a broader package of Public Safety legislation by the Minnesota House and Senate early Saturday morning. Rep. Kelly Moller (DFL – Shoreview), an Assistant Hennepin County Attorney, is the chief author of several of these initiatives.

The sexual harassment bill proposed by Representative Kelly Moller of district 42A (Arden Hills, Mounds View, Shoreview, Spring Lake Park) has been unanimously approved by a Minnesota House Committee.
“This bill is necessary to insure that workers are safe in their workplaces. As the #MeToo movement has highlighted, we need to change workplace behavior” said Moller.
